I’m that anon. Recovering should always be for yourself, and someone else should never be your main motivation. Izzy is in love with Sunny because she was her first friend, who treated her right. She did not think twice before going for it, but then gradually backed off once she remembered just how weak Sunny truly is. Her brain is so deprived of crucial nutrients, htat she can’t think right. Izzy figured out that isn’t the morally correct thing to do- There is some sort of an imbalance. Izzy most likely has some abandonment issues to work out and she shouldn’t have let them out on someone who’s body is shutting down. But she is learning- she is a work in progress.
