This map is cannon,it was in the show…or could have been made up for song…who knows.

Yeah this is going to be bad for FOE, they’ve got the whole thing messed up now, oh boy. Is KKat going to have to retcon the whole map or something?

it seems like FoE is basically this upside down, but without a defined location for griffins/dragons. The really big changeup is that the zebras aren’t connected to the continent at all.

What is this? A canon map?

The two cities at the nw part are “Vanhoover” and “Tall Tale”. (Reasonably, matching Vancouver and Seattle)

But I think Appleloosa is a bit big, even when it is not scaled. ^^

One thing is certain. this map is not to scale because the ponies had to sleep the night in the train from Ponyville to Appleloosa.  
Also, if they had to sleep the night from Ponyville to Canterlot in “Mmmmmystery Express” is because the train had to make some random détour.

I always pictured the dragons coming from the north, but southeast works too.
 
The Griffons being east of Equestria only strengthens my Griffon Kingdom = Imperial Germany headcanon.

I FUCKING KNEW THAT LOS PEGASUS IS LIKE LOS ANGELES! EVERY IS SAYING LAS VEGAS!  
But I don’t like how it’s another Cloud city. As cute as Cloudsdale is, I hate it for the fact it’s a city where basically only pegasi can get to, unless you have a unicorn friend, it’s a pretty segregating city. Not that I’m complaining or anything x3
 
But as awesome as this map may be, I hope Fallout: Equestria doesn’t take it canonly or something. xD Because I was under the impression the story took place in the west and I’m in the middle working on my own side story and it takes place in the east. Ah well, I’m come up with something.

I think this map gives us enough wiggleroom to add whatever geographical features and townships we want. It’s not meant to be to-scale or to provide an exhaustive list of settlements. And besides, what kind of fantasy world would this be if it didn’t have unmapped and unnamed surprises waiting for our characters to stumble across?

@marioandsonic: at one time, Las Pegasas was supposed to stand in for Vegas (according to one of the writers’ twitter posts.) It looks like Las Pegasas has been repurposed as the LA analog now.

i kinda hoped Equestria would be bigger, but this isn’t to scale so. :P Ah well, at least we now know where the original three tribes came from. (the north)
