It’s common for true love to blossom in less than a week in most Disney movies. Though the changing from warm to winter weather may disagree, or France has a hell of a forecast.
Plus, the “Be Our Guest” sequence has an impressive Eiffel Tower built out of silverware, despite the tower itself not supposed to exist until much later on.
This is the same film that has a magical fairy, a giant beast, and talking furniture. I think we’ll live.
Keep in mind, Belle doesn’t just suddenly fall in love with the beast. She slowly fell in love with him because he stopped acting like a jerk. Also, when she needs to save her father near the end, he WILLINGLY lets her go, showing how far he’s come.
Finally…it’s a fairy tale. Let the kids have their fairy tale.

The REAL lesson is that Stockholm Syndrome can work wonders in the world of love.
Technically, he didn’t kidnap him, Maurice wandered inside on his own, and got locked up.
Plus, you know…fairy tale. Anything can happen.
