So basically the story follows that sometime after Sci!Twi returned back to normal from her “Midnight Sparkle” transformation, the residue of the corrupted magic resulted in Sci!Twi’s own colorscheme changing from that of Princess Twilight. With her now ruby-eyed stare, it made her worried that others will begin to fear her and think she might snap again. Her friends still had her back though, and Sci!Twi went on through adjusting to her new life at Canterlot High
 
Around the same time, Flash and Princess Twilight’s own relationship was beginning to crumble. With the princess being so busy in the pony world fulfilling many magical & royal duties, it made Flash feel neglected and his crush on her slowly faded. He realized they didn’t have much in common and he thought it’d be best to move on to avoid growing bitter about it. He even attempted to rekindle his past romance with Sunset, but that didn’t go beyond just a couple dates. They were still good friends by the end though, and Sunset didn’t want to leave Flash all alone so she tried to help set him up with a couple of her own friends. One failure after another, she was about to give up when she remembered someone else…Sci!Twi. She felt like Flash, with his friendly and patient demeanor, would be a great influence for the still meek but curious girl.
 
But Flash surprisingly wasn’t so keen on the idea, not wanting to come across as using Sci!Twi as some kind of “replacement” for the princess he once loved. Determined to try and make the match work, Sunset thought of an idea of setting the two up for a study session. Nearby she kept a close eye and watched how the two slowly started to open up about themselves. To Sunset’s relief, Flash was able to realize how different this Twilight was as she had her own likes, dislikes, aspirations. She wasn’t some perfect magic-wielding princess, she was a flawed and dreamy individual who’s biggest wish is to understand everything the world has to offer. Beginning to connect with her more than he did with any other girl, it didn’t take long for Flash to develop a new crush on her and do his best to garner her attention. Naturally this took some time as Sci!Twi was a very awkward and blunt to other people’s feelings….but thankfully she did take notice and grew to return his affections :aww:
 

 
Apollo  
Age: 17
 
Oldest child and only son of Flash and Sci!Twi. A bright young man who strives to be talented at every subject at school but just never seems to find the right luck. Apollo often gets frustrated at not being able to rise up like his mom in terms of academics, as he’s been working hard to get at least above his C-average grades. This has led to him developing a trigger temper and becoming very finicky about everything, costing him some valued friendships from his previous school years. His parents worry that if he keeps up this behavior he’ll end up alone forever…so they hope that by graduation he’ll have at least earned some new friends.
 
If Apollo ever traveled in the pony world, he’d become a Unicorn. His talent would involve fire magic that can heal people.
 
Galatea  
Age: 15
 
Middle child and oldest daughter of Flash and Sci!Twi. A generally bored young girl who’d rather stay home and eat snacks then participate in extracurricular activities like her siblings. The ironic thing is that she seems to be into music with how much she listens to her headphones all day, but no real motivation for a musical career has came out of her yet. One unique thing about Tea (pronounced as “tee-uh” btw) though is how she’s a whiz at entertaining her classmates with the scary stories and poems she comes up with at random.
 
If Tea ever traveled to the pony world, she’d become a Unicorn. Her talent would involve creating magical illusions to bedazzle her audience during her stories.
 
Flickerfly  
Age: 13
 
Youngest child and second daughter of Flash and Sci!Twi. A true geek like her mama indeed, but without all the insecurities and social awkwardness as Flicker is a total attention hog. Ambitious alongside being a brat, she has big dreams of holding the best grades at her school all the way to her graduation. With how much she loves to study, you’d think Flicker would be going to Crystal Prep Academy. But, thanks to her mother’s bad experiences at that school she did not want to repeat the past with her youngest child. For the time being Flicker just has to suck it up as she’s about to attend Canterlot High in the following year.
 
If Flickerfly ever traveled to the pony world, she’d become a Pegasus. It is unknown what her talent would be though
