I’m hinting toward the former since the arm that pushed Lewis was the first body part to be possessed, and was bitten off by presumably an alternate form of Mystery, who was lurking in the background. I’m sure the true antagonist was sucking off some deeply-seated jealousy though. It’s clear who the leader and the feeble sidekick were.
The information passes so fast that it took me multiple viewings and some pauses to take it in. The subtle but important details cause the audience themselves work on unraveling the true mystery. This video is impeccably thought out.
Its pretty clear, yeah. The only thing questionable about it is how much it was a matter of him being forced to do it and being simply encouraged to do it.
