Well Sunset did make it to the beginning of Season 2 before return to the he 2019 specials. And WE! WANT! MORE! EQUESTRIA! GIRLS!!!

I would love more character development. Heck, it felt like Sunset just wasnt in Season 2 until the special!
I kinda miss the old shorts where we learned about Fluttershy and her work at the animal shelter, or Rainbow getting a new guitar.

That would work too, you’re right. More focus on character development, and it would really stand out from MLP itself.

Nick just clarified too that he meant it was just the last DHX special. He seems to expect that if a third season were to happen it would happen through him, but Rescue Bots Academy and Cyberverse kept none of the writers from the previous series.
Odd that Hasbro almost seems to be purging their writers tho.
It’s ALL up to Hasbro THEMSELVES to figure what to do for EQG! It’s NOT up to me, Not Nick Confalone, Not K. Hadley, not even up to you guys or the rest of the fandom either! HASBRO!!!!

I’ve always felt like the portals would stay open, with Sunny and her friends following through with the super hero thing they have been setting up.
If Boukder does go with that, it would be pretty cool. They do alot of action shows already lol.
Totally agree with 4979. She should stay. The human world has become her home.
Honestly she should just stay in the human world and shut down the portals.
We need a graduation special to end it on high note and fix problems with the portal

I’ve been really enjoying the web series, especially the focus on Sunset’s anger issues. It is a big deal alot of people deal with, and it is cool seeing her actually working to overcome something.

If G5 does happen the way I’ve heard, then I do want to see that small Grootslang that supposedly Spike’s arch in a way.
Totally agreed on G5. My thought that G4 isnt ending is a purely technical thing. I really like what the leaks show.
And yeah, Meghan will do good by MLP. I feel like a few fans dont really like her, but do you know if there is an actual reason behind that or not??
As for talking whether G5 is accurate, I just wanted to talk EQG. I have researched G5 ad nauseam, got a pretty solid belief about what is next, and just want to get back to enjoying tiny technicolor ponies lol.
SheRa was a surprise!! I’m actually enjoying it lol. I just really, really hope Netflix doesnt cancel it…

Me, I read the leaks. I like them. But hey, the facts around them make me think they either are not authentic or at least what we are getting next is not what we read about in the leaks.
Also, if G5 is coming, we dont really need to worry.
G5 wont be done by an uncaring crew, Boulder seems to love MLP as much as the rest of us, and seem very proud to be working on it.
And it thank God won’t be done by someone who has no idea about MLP. Meghan McCarthy is the closest thing FiM has to a co-creator, and she is the head of storytelling and VP of Allspark.
I mean, all the pieces ARE there for a good reboot, if that is what we get.
Plus, on a personal note, the leaks are exciting. A multi-dimensional like world? Literally unlimited world building.
The character redesigns are really cute and I like the re-characterization of the three tribes. Earth ponies are smart and industrious, pegasi are competitive/noble and carefree and silly. Unicorns are shy and in touch with their surroundings or regal leaders.
This would be an awesome reboot, and for once, I would actually be a fan from the start lol.
It’s just that after reading the leaks myself, and reading DHX’s responses to them, and understanding a few technical problems with the leaks, plus problems with the actual roadmap itself…
They just dont seem as authentic, or at the least, what is in the leaks is not what we are getting next.
