Sure, the franchise does it’s best to break out of that stereotype with or without Spike, but still…

I heard that, the creator of My Life as a Teenage Robot, was being considered as director for the upcoming G5 film along side Kevin Munroe, the director of the CGI film “TMNT” 2007.
I’m pretty sure she’ll do just fine. I’m just glad they have someone that knows the fandom well working on G5. :)

Yep, McCarthy is in the production staff alongside a few unknown people (I’ll try to search for their first names/nicknames later to see if I find out who they are). If the leaked emails are any indication, she’s apparently quite overwhelmed trying to do something successful.
I’m really glad that they have the passion for pony. :)
As for G5 I know that it will be different looking. Do you know if McCarthy is going to be heading G5? I heard that she was, any confirmation? I’d be really happy if she was considering she was part of the G4 team and she more or less know what the fandom likes. XD

The style won’t be the same as G4, but I’m sure the animation may look similar to what we’re gonna see when the special premieres.
