I once wanted this to be the future for the Golden Oak, but I’m happy with it being what it is now. Memories are made much fonder when they are only that.

People still enjoying the show does not mean they think Meghan McCarthy is a better showrunner than Lauren Faust.
And I have to say that as much as I personally hated to see Golden Oaks Library destroyed, it was an effective storytelling moment, probably the most emotionally-painful damage to the “good guys” that Hasbro/S&P would have allowed in the show.
