Hey everyone,
This is a little mini series that I’m putting together while I figure out what big project I want to do next. I have plenty of art that I need to, or should be doing, I’m well aware of that.
So, in the meantime, I’ll pick a character at random from my roster and give them a redesign and a little lore.
Today, it was the turn of Neon Blacktop; a quiet sweetheart of a mare from the city of Trottingham who never truly understood her neon pink palm tree cutie mark until she discovered human synthwave and retrowave music completely by chance. She was named for how wet tarmac appears with neon light shining upon it.
As she was already a keyboardist at that point, she has thrown herself into learning how to play music of that genre, and hopes to make it big one day. She cannot sing worth a damn, so she makes instrumental music, and has had minor success this far with some of her tracks being used on the soundtracks of Equestrian movies.
She is pansexual, and is currently dating an earth pony mare by the name of Lilac Heather, an intelligent and witty botanist.
