Agreed. The “old style” was much better. In particular I’m not a fan of the “new style’s” head shapes. The old style is so much cuter, not to mention, they… actually feel like Fluttershy and Discord. The new style seems to cross the uncanny valley.
Actually, it’s very easy to compare them. The cute one is great, while the “realistic” one (not a good description) simply isn’t as pleasing to the eye.
