Turks use samovars for tea, like Russians. You get it served in little glass cups with a couple sugar cubes on the side.
I saw a couple of these samovars in garage sales. But they don’t seem to sell them in retail stores in Canada.
I’m polish, so I’m not sure if I’m right about it. I was taught that method of drinking tea by few fellow students from Russia and Ukraine.
Our family had samovar 20 years ago, and I don’t recall drinking tea with sugarcubes. If I’m not mistaken, that was pre-Revolution tradition.
