She learned the “ask for help occasionally” lesson pretty well. She still has a ridiculously insecure reaction to any kind of failure on her part, however, and is probably the most independent of the Mane 6 (not in a good way a lot of the time).

I’d say she’s learned her lesson pretty well. One of the things I like about FiM is how the characters actually remember what they’ve learned from episode to episode.

In Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 others actually do help Applejack and her family and AJ never refused that. Only thing she didn’t want to do was cheating.  
Yeah it may have been a small part in The last Roundup though not the “main thing” pretty much like you said.  
Haven’t read her micro comic yet, but I at least keep the TV show and the comics seperate.
