That’s my take on it, yeah. “We know for certain that Princess Platinum was head of the Unicorn Tribe at that time. There is some evidence that she was a demanding and exacting ruler. For the purposes of this narrative, she’s also a raging bitch.”
Oh, I see. So you figure that there WAS a meeting held and the Windigos got involved, but the insanity of Puddinghead and other little tidbits were derived from a Telephone Game-style retelling of events. It is actually kind of scary how much that happens in real life.
Also, a Trojan Human was involved. XD
It’s probably a lot like The Illiad; there’s historical evidence that some events happened, but the only account that’s even close to contemporary has a lot of legend mixed in.
Aah, so they were taking the 300 approach to historical accuracy. XD
My headcanon is that Chancellor Puddinghead wasn’t actually a space cadet, but rather Pinkie Pie was being very improvisational in her role. Some of Applejack’s annoyed/confused expressions from the episode fit this headcanon quite nicely.
