Like you said Jerry was the narrator of “Blue Cat Blues” and he did speak in “The Lonesome Mouse”, but that’s it.
In fact in all the newer cartons after the movie, be they good or bad, get the rarely speaking part right.
Tom did speak occasionally in the original cartoons, though never more than a couple of lines or so. I don’t think Jerry ever actually spoke, though he was the narrator of one cartoon.
Artist changes name all the time, but we don’t really change their name here (except Crenair I think, whatever his name is now).
That is a very fitting image and I should go watch the silent Tom & Jerry cartoons (by which I mean they never speak).
Jerry begs to differ.
The ink would just briefly tint Pinkie’s face with ink, and then ONLY the ink disappears!
