Sweet Celestia! That might be as almost as headcanon as Starlight and Sunburst being Lustre’s parents!

One of my leading hypotheses. If anyone can figure out technomagical lesbian spawn, it’s these two.

“Oh yeah! Headcanon time!
 
 
Although I like the ship starburst, I don’t really consider Luster dawn as its nextgen (and I can always create one after all), so I wanted to get a little more creative: she is a sunlight nextgen!
 

 
After Sci-twi and sunset got married, they were seriously considering the possibility of having kids. Sunset knew of a magical procedure that existed in Equestria in which a pony could change its gender in order to carry out the reproduction. Also, she wanted her future son or daughter to know about her Equestrian roots, and she couldn’t be happier when her beloved wife agreed with her. So they traveled to Equestria where they underwent the spell and months later the little Luster Dawn was born.
 
 
Princess Twilight kept a special eye on Sunset’s pregnancy to make sure everything went well (what else could she do? In a sense it was also her daughter, as weird as it was!). The small family returned to their world, and they reached the agreement on that Luster would be educated in Twilight’s school, and they would come to visit them several times a year. Those early days were a bit confusing for little Brighlight, especially when both mares came to visit the castle with a baby Luster and the mare that looked a lot like her mom talked with her about how big Brighly was growing, and then her mother gave pampering to the pink filly as she used to do when Brightly was that small (and she may have been a little jealous about it).
 
 
Years later, when Luster got the age required to enter Princess Twilight’s school, she took the unicorn under her wing just as Celestia did with her. Luster stands out mainly in the creation of holograms of light (she can create holograms of animals and objects, and even ponies using sunlight as raw material, hence her cutie mark).
 

 
And welp! This is just a base story to develop Luster that I’d probably modify over time and where I will explain some points that I feel are very hollow (for example, although I didn’t mention it, Sunburst is cousin of Sunset by his father). But this is all for now :)
