Remember when the Crusaders got their dumb marks and I hated it and whined and cried a whole bunch?
 
While I still think it’s a slap in the face to give them all a “unified” mark, I decided to finally toss together an early design for an improvement on the concept. It’s not really perfect - I don’t know if cropping the emblems in each shard is still visually clear and the colors might need some work - but I just don’t understand why they didn’t give them some kind of fragmented mark that can visually combine together. Did they think kids wouldn’t get it? UGH IT STILL BOTHERS ME.
 
The pegs stick out from Sweetie’s because her stripe was the smallest in the original design. It was also the one covered up by the emblem every time. That’s not fair, Bloom and Scoots always get the big ice cream, when will Sweetie get to be the alpha pegasus. Anyway pegs out for Harambelle makes it look a little more even.
 
Maybe later I’ll do custom marks I would’ve preferred for them to get, we’ll see.
