Pernicia has a ~small~ obsession with smol adorable animals. She would constantly bring animals into the castle, trying to convince mommy and daddy to let her keep them. Like most parents, they’d say no, but she never gave up.

One day, she encountered a small little rabbit nest, and being the nosy little thing she is, she found a small little volcano rabbit who had seemingly been abandoned. He was the cutest thing she had ever seen in her entire life. She named him Charito and took him home. Worried her parents would try to send him away, she kept him a secret. Eventually, after a couple of months of sneaking him food, Nepharia got curious and confronted her about it. The two got into a fight and Nepharia told Celestia about him.
