Description
This one’s been waiting for a few months, but now that calendar sales have come to an end, here’s my part of the Hitch 2023 calendar collaboration hosted by BajaGryphon! I’m still very honored to have been one of 12 artists chosen for this project, so thanks again, Baja!
This project was meant to resemble the Hitch calendar shown briefly in My Little Pony: A New Generation, so some of the artists involved reused the same themes from the movie and redrew them in their styles, and we all had to mimic the same pose to the best of our abilities. I was personally really feeling a “popstar” Hitch idea, and once it was approved, I just did the most I could with it! I’d imagine Pipp was especially adoring this look.
If you were one of the people who bought a calendar, you can expect to see this artwork with the month of January (as well as 11 other amazing entries by other talented artists).
This is my first time making any sort of merchandise with my art through the Internet, and I had a lot of fun with it. I hope to try it again in the future when I have some time to put aside.
Hitch Trailblazer is a canon character from My Little Pony: A New Generation. I stylized him my own way here.
