Well, not really. G Gundam is deliberately cheesy but still cheesy, and the scene everyone references in terms of Naruto was back when Naruto was still a quality product.
I thought Erupting was more appropriate, because the head on clashes happen more often in the second half of the show.
Most of the Shining Finger stuff was just One and Done. Erupting at least LOOKED like both sides were giving it their all in a raw display of MANLY POWER.
