S’alright, we’ve all been there.
Blargh, yeaaah.
I really shouldn’t make any baseless assumptions about the direction of the show based on my coworkers being jerks, I’m just kind of annoyed with then right now and it’s making me cynical :<
But people have rights to have their own opinions? And even then having another woman have a child on a children’s show doesn’t necessarily mean it effects your opinion on the issue, nor does it mean that’s their explicit belief?
My original point was more of that I HOPE the writers just don’t reduce the character to Stay At Home Parents with No Lives/Babysitter Twilight!
But I think the real issue here is that my my coworkers’ preferences for stay-at-home wives is starting to get on my nerves a lot and like :/
Seriously one of the guys outright said “Having a working wife is hell” today and that made me mad, and I see this synopsis and I start making bad connections.
I don’t get that vibe at all. What if it was her choice to have a foal? What if it was both of them? What if it was none of them? Besides, who says that having a foal automatically means she can’t ever do anything else again?
Liiike Cadence hasn’t show up much, but you get the impression she was bored with being stuck in the crystal empire and maybe wanted to be more of an /action girl/, but instead of taking her in that direction, this just dumps a bunch more domesticity on her?
