I was quoting the villain, Baron Harkonnen, as portrayed by Kenneth McMillan in the version directed by David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Eraserhead, Elephant Man, Blue Velvet) in the 80s. Pretty damn good film with a freaking awesome soundtrack; I recommend it, especially as an introduction to Dune (that’s how I got introduced to the books, at any rate.) Though bear in mind, it is David Lynch’s Dune, so expect weirdness and the occasional nightmarish visual, especially with the Harkonnen.
Here’s a clip of the scene I was referencing, just to give you a taste of what to expect.
Ah. I lack familiarity with Dune, which may be why I only noticed the hands thing.
Pardon me–was too busy making a Dune reference to notice the slight mixup with proper pony terminology. My bad. :)

WRONG Cadence has lived in Canterlot as a small filly and then grew up as a teen to Foalsit Twilight and who else was from Canterlot Shining Armor and the Jerk Blueblood
Based on book, comic, and multiple show references, Cadance has lived in Canterlot as Celestia’s adoptive niece since she was a young filly.
Where the heck did she live before the Crystal Empire started re-existing then?
& where did she live when she had a regular babysitting gig in Canterlot in that case?
Luna and Celestia are both based in canterlot and Twilight is from Canterlot. Cadance has nothing to do with canterlot.
So Princess Cadance is evoking the rites of Kanly? Something tells me this will end with the Princesses dead, and Rarity arising to the status of an Alicorn Princess by her own hand and leading the ponies in revolt against the tyrannical Harko–I MEAN, Cadance.
“The Princesses who refuse to acknowledge me will DIE before these eyes, and they’ll know that it is I–Princess Mi Amore Cadenza who encompasses their DOOM!”
Drama queen? More like drama empress.

And the most amusing thing is it isn’t much of a stretch to imagine Rarity going down this route.
