Well who knows, if it did well enough with the latter group, it may open the window for future games by the property to be taken seriously by gamers as a whole.

It would sell pretty damn well…but only among those who are fans of both MLP and PM. That may be a pretty large number of people to you and I, but for large companies like Hasbro and Nintendo the payout may not be worth putting a serious effort into the game.

In my opinion, if they each get together to create a game, it could possibly sell very well (if they actually put in an effort). Thoughts?

Very well, assuming the project didn’t get nuked right out of the gate, which, knowing Hasbro, is more than a possibility, not to mention I doubt Nintendo would take too kindly to it either. If it ever did get made and go on sale, I would probably pay full game price ($60). Well, as long as it’s a full length game and not just a tiny game with a couple enemies…

So much want.

Honestly can’t see Twilight as a MC of an RPG. Maybe Trixie, RD or Sunset, characters with a lot of growth potential.

11/10 would play, although I’ve heard many great things in the fandom were taken down due to dem copyright issues…

One day, I swear, they’ll be a whole slew of pony video games encompassing every genre.

The Tattle would have to be changed a bit from the traditional concept, to Spike getting the book of enemies and giving it to Twilight to look up the enemy

There’s many other Mario RPG villains that could fit in an MLP setting. Cackletta, the Shroobs(who are basically Changelings, as aliens), the X-Nauts, the Shadow Queen(who’s Nightmare Moon on steroids and an extra dose nightmare fuel), Count Bleck, Dimentio(who is Discord with homicidal tendencies)… and Fawful!

Well knowing this series, it’s highly likely that NMM or Discord will appear, only for them to get upstaged by a brand new villain who either outsmarts or beats them up just to prove how big a threat the new guy is.

So if Twilight is the main character, does this mean she spends the whole game as a mute?

If any of you have even the slightest skill in making games, please make this, I beg of you.

nah Rarity is the party member that becomes virtually obsolete once you get the 1 turn invuln

@Takashi Oh right, she’s supposed to make another appearance in season 3. Considering the number of character interpretations she has I wonder if her second appearance will cause a massive fandom rage storm or if it will be almost universally accepted as Luna’s was.
 
 
More on topic, I’d give Rarity some sort of charm ability to steal from enemies.
