Humans are weak breeders. Very few of their traits don’t get overridden by the other parent’s traits.

The powers that made a human be able to have a offspring with a pony does not mix things up. It was hard enough to get the two to mix together in the first place! Magic can only go so far!
Man, these guys aren’t even different shades from each other. It’s fine when it’s just one or two of them, but when there’s five it looks weird, man.
Human blandness. The creative genes are forced to become singular because the color matrix they use gets controlled by the human genome alleles, making it near impossible for hair/mane and coat color to change more than a few shades darker or lighter. And this would have stayed secret if you hadn’t downloaded the mainframe.

Well, the first one was an accident. One that lead to Fluttershy learning she REALLY liked creampies. One thing lead to another, now one is five. A big, happy, cute abomination family.
