I was just double checking if you knew all the Q&A.
… Yes? Did I say something that implied I didn’t?
You do know that season 6 is already in recording right?
It basically means they can’t answer that question. Either because there’s already a foal episode in the works and they can’t talk about it, or they don’t want to commit to an answer to leave their options open.
or, he might become Starlight’s assistant instead.
Gr8 b8 m8, I r8 8/8.
Suddenly, I’m reminded of that Jackie Chan Adventure’s two-parter where Shendu and his fellow demons alter time so that they control the Earth.
That would be even better.
Though, I still imagine Starlight having considerable “power” since we still don’t know how she managed to gain magic to actually steal cutie marks or even a spell even more powerful than Star Swirl’s own time travel spell. If it came from some sort of mysterious benefactor, we’d be seeing this benefactor possibly at the end of the second episode of the season finale as a glimpse. Presto, we got our Season 6 opening villain,
But back to the finale speculation, of all the mane 6, Twilight would most likely be the only one not affected by the timeline change. She’d be back to being a regular unicorn and either with no cutie mark or an altogether different one, but her memory would be intact. The first episode would be her horror at how Equestria was changed, then trying to find the rest of the Mane 6 only to find them no longer the same (AJ possibly a Manehattenite snob, Pinkamena in her straight hair rock farmer self, etc.) The second would be basically getting them back despite whatever “destinities” were given to them in the alternate timeline.
Even if it all ends up being something else entirely, it’s still legal to speculate, yes?
Yeah that’s what I was thinking, being good at reading and understanding others emotions would certainly help with manipulation.
Omg, that was what I was saying way back then.
To split people up like that, you have to really know them.
o…m….g omgggggggg. dun dun duuuuu
If they had like a massive Villain war, with the world split into territories controlled by each villain, and Starlight finding herself totally outclassed. That would be freaking incredible.
Empathy is an interesting idea, I hope to really see that out of Sunset in Friendship games now.
That… would be a great explanation for how the villains will return “but not how you’d expect”. Because the mane six didn’t get their cutie marks, they never became Elements, and all of the villains won.
I’m gonna call it right here. Starlight Glimmer’s master plan is to manipulate events so the main six never get their cutie marks.
Think about it, we know short term time travel is possible, and Glimmer has admitted to studying magic for years. All she has to do is somehow change things so RD never pulls off her first Sonic Rainboom. Given the finale setup from the SDCC animatic… seems likely.
The question is not whether Starlight is going to wreak havoc on the past, but what will be the consequences considering the Mane 6 not stopping the villains before her. Will we see an Eternal Night? A changeling-hive territory? A chaos’d Ponyville?
Well sheesh, that just gives it away, doesn’t it?
A: Wait for the finale!”
I’m getting major Make Wrong What Once Went Right vibes here.
