I like this.
I guess the doctor and the dude got all the human budget…
They probably didn’t want to put too much emphasis in mankind for this.
Doesn’t quite mesh with how cheery Lyra is in the show. Like if she was a ponified brony from the less depressing times, like around the time aforementioned Anthropology was conceived.
Lyra turns out to be a human who got into Equestria via mysterious portal when she was just a baby. She doesn’t know why she’s so drawn to humans, (because she can’t remember the events) but when she finds out she understands. It’s a pretty good read, and I recommend it if you like Lyra.
If you’re referring to the latter headcanon, yes.
If you’re referring to the former, then Anthropology clearly has a story twist I don’t know about.
A la Anthropology?
Clearly, the show writers patricipate in the glorious headcanon of Lyra being a ponified human (with some habits, namely sitting, stuck since she was homo sapiens) instead of the dumb one of Lyra being human-obsessed.
Larson got all the references so close to what everyone wanted but then mixed it all together to create one glorious big mess that satisfies but still teased some part of you.
The humans reference would go to hanging a lampshade on Letrotski constantly saying “man”
I can’t believe they used every fandom idea for Bon Bon,her voices, secret agent, even name but only used one (the bench thing) for Lyra. Not even a single reference to humans, why?
If you were to say I had my shipping goggles on too tight, you would be absolutely correct!
