Gilda, Gabby, Babs Seed and Suri are other characters I want to return.
Edited
Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon deserve another episode (just like Dusty).
Maybe on a school trip?
It’s not just unicorns, there’s Gilda, And Discord sort of. And Diamond Tiara would probably count too if she hadn’t been demoted to background pony. It’s only mostly unicorns. :D
Pegasi want happiness and friendship, too.
This piece is outdated. here’s a better version: https://derpiboo.ru/1123119?scope=scpebf4e66308951916c6e9a9e3d04885f8bfc88db5e
Sunset: “Treason, same as you.”
Starlight: “Innocent?”
Sunset: “Only guilty mare in Shawflank.”
Multiple counts, I would think.
@Mooncalf
Maybe so, but the issue remains that this is not somewhere that Trixie would get away with talking a big game if she can’t back it up, which makes me think somepony would decide to “put her in her place” in short order if she didn’t give herself a crash course in shutting the hell up.
And as for Starlight, she may not be strong , but unless there’s no earth ponies in this jail, unicorns and pegasi aren’t generally going to come out on top for brute force anyhow. Starlight is still dangerous. She is manipulative, and she is determined, and she is quite the madmare. Let’s put it this way, if there was an Equestrian equivalent to Arkham Asylum, she’d be there rather than here.
And all that wagon pulling and rock farming has got to build muscles. Whereas Starlight lived a soft cushy life exploiting her village. She’s more likely to end up at the bottom of the ladder, here.
Maybe here, without all that magic to compete with on the outside, her skills in deceit and underhanded survival may come in handy.
Wait, how is Trixie not the prison bitch? ’Cause on the outside, she sure seemed to have a habit of talking big and getting herself in over her head.
For some reason, I get the feeling that sending her to jail is going to undo the progress she’s made towards rehabilitation.
Maybe she should have asked Twilight to grant her asylum? I think it might be reasonable to call her a refugee.
If lightning dust wasn’t here, she would be the prison bitch
Would Sunset be safe, then, since she’s turned good and all?
Iv noticed that with the recent villains, since Sombra most of them really get that much fic attention, hell Tirek barely gets fanart attention, I wonder why that is. The early fandom seemed much more wiling to embrace and produce lots of content of new characters than the current fandom, but then there’s really obvious cases where that’s NOT the case like with the Dazzlings or Coco Pommel.
As for Trixie, honestly don’t have much idea how she became as dominantly popular as she did, I can bet that EQDs constant pushing of her helped plenty though.
Actually, I’m of the opinion that Starlight can go either way. It has to depend on the circumstances that allowed her the motivation to do what she did. She could get redeemed and see the error of her ways or she can completely ignore the epiphany and decide to harden up and go out with a bang Waco Seige style.
The problem though was that there was a ‘planned’ scene at the end for a little redemption of Lightning’s character, but was cut to save time.
From what I can tell, in the books, she and Rainbow grow to have a friendly rivalry of sorts.
@LOVE
I’d love to read it and yeah. That would go against everything she is and she wasn’t that sadistic. Oh she did some immoral things, but well, when you’re view of the world is a tad bit skewed like hers, you often don’t view them that way. It’ll take a big ‘wake up call’ to set her straight.
