It’s just not a good movie. At all. I mean, the first wasn’t that great either, but at least I could see the attempt on the team working on it’s part to make it decent. I could also see it in Rainbow Rocks to some extent, but this time, instead of a stumble, it was like a trip down a flight of stairs. Somehow, they managed to make Flash have even less of a personality, which is even bigger of a letdown when the beginning of the movie makes it look like they’re finally going to give him some development. The “friends” turn on each other way too quickly and in a way that just feels forced. I know, I know, siren magic, but it just felt so artificial. Twilight’s deus ex machina of a machine that can just so happen to open the portal that she whips up in a manner of a day (maybe two). Even the music wasn’t as good, save for the final battle. And this was a movie centered around music! Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t expecting Nirvana or some shit, but the movie’s songs were all pretty much forgettable. At least the first one has songs that I can still remember. The only thing that I remember liking is the final scene; the battle was really intense.

So yeah.
