That’s a bit of a stretch seeing how the middle image is just creature designs with nothing showing a connection, it happens with some odds and ends in concept art, unrelated things can end up on the same page.
There IS a connection, actually:
Note the creatures in the cave, the ones in the cages, and the ones we see in Discord’s realm.
 
 
ACTUALLLY IN THAT PIC YOU CAN SEE 4 OF THE 6 CREATURES AND MAYBE there is a asecret passage to discord relm in that place

Of note is that the ‘flying’ thing in the cave is also shown in the video, but it’s apparently been recolored to bright green.
