Fair enough-and for the record, no shame in criticism so long as you’re at least trying to be constructive. It’s “GO BREAK UR DRAWING HAND”-style yayposters that truly waste time & oxygen.

I wasn’t critizing him/her, I was merely observing that some new users could mistakenly take Fluttershy as Rarity, and vice versa because of their similar setups. You and I both know Scorp’s artwork well enough that we know that it’s Rarity. But someone that is new to it may not. And you would have to admit, in a grayscale picture like this, Rarity does look a bit like Fluttershy, especially with the curl that covers one of her eyes (that is a huge trademark of humanized Fluttershy, and surprising Celestia–for the former, it’s due to her shy persona, and for the latter, it almost shows her as one eye obscured by her magical waving hair.)
 
Obviously a colorized version of this image would pretty much show us that’s Rarity, wit her purple hair, just like Fluttershy would be with her waist-length pink hair.
 
As I said it’s just an observation, not a criticism. Can’t help that I look at a lot of things differently from most.

Eh, Scorpy’s fairly consistent about including R’s telltale squigglecurls-they just flow a bit looser than most humanizations go in for, and he doesn’t extrapolate Show!Rarity’s big main (argh) curl into a widow’s peak. Agreed on the rest, to be sure.

I can tell it’s Rarity because of her diamond earrings, otherwise one could be mistaken for Fluttershy from a distance. The hairstyles are similar in that both Flutters and Rare have their hair partially covers one of her eyes.
 
But this is standard casual for her–elegant and stylish, as well as practical. Honestly this has to be one of the better images that scorpdk made–and that’s saying something because nothing is out of place and it puts it on Rarity herself, not just the outfit. I always though that Rarity needs very little work when it comes to beauty.
