Fluttershy wouldnt enjoy skydiving near as much as she does if she hadnt found a parachute that was perfect for her. Its big and slow, yes; its nothing like the razor blades Rainbow Dash likes to fly with. Its mellow, gentle, and easy to handle, and it has never given Shy a hard opening or forced her to cut away. It carries Fluttershy like a hug and lets her drift like a feather. She loves her parachute, and cares for it meticulously.
 
There are some jumps where, rather than packing, she carries the folded-up canopy on the plane with her to release as soon as she leaves the plane. She often gives the canopy a hug before she lets go, just to show it how much she trusts it. It has not let her down yet.
