Well, again it’s a question of preferences. I would say that some Soviet and US tanks look better, but it’s akin to arguing about fashion and beauty - totally useless.
I’d guess it’s just because German tanks look way cooler.
Yeah, not to add that they had to cut down on complexity and quality by the end of the war due to lack of time and resources.
Their commanders actually quite often preferred captured and retrofited tanks of other nations due to better quality of armor (didn’t turn into shrapnel on impact) and higher comfort.
Actually, not. Early Axis tanks sucks in comparison with Soviet T34/KV. Later they got better (Tiger/Panther series), but they can’t produce them in quantities necessary. Besides, because of not enough time to test them properly, this tanks were generally less reliable and more susceptible to non-combat losses.
