Oh, and if two players complete a Fish My Wish on the same turn by trading cards, four of a kind beats any other two pair and if comparing two pairs, hands are ranked:
 
(1) highest top  
(2) highest bottom  
(3) if both same, winner is the one with the higher black pair.

Maybe you could do it a little like Go Fish. Every player gets six cards and discards two face down. On your turn you can:
 
(1) take one of a player’s face down cards, replacing it with one of your own face down.
 
(2) pick up one of your face down cards (perhaps put there by another player), and drop one face down
 
(3) draw one from the remaining deck and then discard to a central pile face up
 
(4) draw the top card on the discard pile and replace it with another from your hand
 
(5) ask another player if they have a card value in their hand; if they do, they must give one of them to you. They may ask for a different card value back, or draw a card. You will either give one of the value they ask for if you have it, or discard one to the discard pile if you don’t (or they don’t ask).
 
Winner is first to create a hand of the type described.

Now somebody should come up with rules for “Fish my Wish” where an excellent hand is two pair, in all four suits, with red in one pair and black in the other.

All four suits are canon.
