The idea was to put Spitfire in flight on one side of the front, and Soarin’ on the other. Not sure whether to try putting Misty and Fleetfoot on it somewhere too. (Probably on either side of the tail, or on top of the short side wings).  
Don’t think I’ll be doing the smoke trails too far around the model.
 
As for getting the thing built, timescale’s undetermined. It still needs the guns, the short moving wings on the sides with the las cannons, and the undercarriage, plus a ton of detail work.  
Add to that the fact I’m not building 1 Thunderhawk, but 4, and that’s drawing the times out.  
(Wonderbolts themed, Hello Kitty themed one for the rival army, and 2 more for a couple of lads at the local club, (one of which hasn’t been back for an age).

That is some snazzy gradient work on the Changetalons & their fuzzy friend. As for your latest gunship plans, might I suggest rendering the ’Bolts mid-flight along either side of the nose, with their smoke-trails looping back along the wings?

Heh, sadfacings for slagged armor. And Faust’s soul patch, that Derptalon’s a thing of not-so-grim grey beauty (‘specially the tail-eyes). Now I’m sorely tempted to give an Me 262 kit the new EQUALITY!villain treatment…if nothing else, her mark would be dead easy.

Forgot to mention, most of the models in my pony army have pictures on more than one facing.  
Most have a picture on the underside, as the models are flipped over when they’re wrecked. I did this as much for an excuse to paint another picture on the models as it is to make my opponent fell sorry for wrecking them, (or having a laugh at the fact I’ve actually been crazy enough to do this).

(You could have a try at doing something like ponifying a model yourself. Say a 1:72 scale plane model perhaps? They are fun to do, and are certainly unique).

It’s beautiful when coworkers can live & let live-and Gilda Gunship(C)? Yes please. Noice pone marines as well-that scale would drive me mad (‘course, I’m barely any good with model warplanes above 1:72 or so).

Done a few more since. Most are up on here already as individual pictures, although my latest model is nearing completion. King Sombra themed warhound scout titan (like those with Celestia and Luna on in that picture I linked). I am intending to do a second Reaver Titan (Cadance one in the linked pic), although storing said models is becoming an issue.

I usually paint my models in my lunch break at work. All the workforce knows what I’m doing, and none of them really cares much.

Criminy, all that repaint must’ve eaten some evenings. Can’t help thinking the smaller vehicles’ ponefaces would’ve fit a little better on the sides WWII-tank style, but those Princess Titans (specially Cadie’s)? Magnifique.

There’s some quite well known artists on here that have done 40k crossover images.  
Even Yakovlev-Vad has done one as far as I know.

I started out in the 40k crossover part of the fandom.  
And seeing as around 10% of Derpibooru’s 40k crossover images were uploaded by me, I think I may have some influence here.

Searched up an additional 14 hereabouts, though half of ’em are colorizations. Gotta love capes, armor, staves & doodads.
