I think it even might have been a “safe” version of an explicit image. I don’t remember the image.
Well I know that, I’m reasonably sure that they once ran a comic involving Rarity “mistaking a bull for a cow” shall we say. & showing the “milk”.
It’s probably not the first time they’ve shown something this… suggestive.
Though I’m still somewhat surprised it got onto Equestria Daily.
Apparently, it didn’t air on TV. I don’t think Discovery Family would try and get away with airing something like this regardless of how official it is.

Doing a bit more digging, the “My Little Pony Apple Bloomers Official” YouTube channel’s ‘about’ page has links to various official Hasbro webpages and YouTube channels, but it also mentions MyLittlePonyAppleBloomers.com, which doesn’t exist, and links to a couple of purported Apple Bloomers pages on hasbro.com which also don’t exist.
If someone can come up with Google Cache or Wayback Machine links to those non-existent Apple Bloomers pages on hasbro.com, I’d say that would be proof, or if someone can point to something posted on an already-known official channel of one of the relevant companies. Failing that, the evidence I’ve seen that this was actually done by Discovery Family, DHX, and/or Hasbro is too easily faked for me to believe it.
A channel called “My Little Pony Apple Bloomers Official”. No mention of, or connection to, any of the known and verified YouTube channels used by Discovery Family, DHX, or Hasbro. I really can’t say that’s evidence this is an official joke (as official as an April Fools joke can be, anyway), much less proof.
Care to explain why there’s an actual youtube channel that has those videos?

I haven’t paid attention. I know My Biggest Pony was one, but I never watched that one, and I don’t think it would be as… something as Apple Bloomers.
