Today was no different and just as those previous times, he required a shower to rise his scales clean. To complain was to err, and Spike never gave his services a second thought, although he always had the impression that the farm pony had something more to say to him beyond the delighted whispering of his name to the summer breeze that frequented their nigh-daily travels.
