Ehhh, I’ve seen a few crappy “copy & paste” Sonic pics, and odd pairings, but nothing Sonic&Pony-related yet that I’d say is THAT “disturbing”… (Though, luckily, I have the “explicit” stuff filtered, so I can’t see it.)  
This pic, despite being odd, isn’t that “disturbing.” (Ignoring the odd ‘shipping, though I’m not sure if this one is a “shipping” pic.) There is much worse out there.
 
I actually said before that I do wish the Sonic-haters would filter the Sonic pics, for the reasons you stated. I just meant I find it funny how “offended/angry” some people get if they so much as see a Sonic image online. That’s what I meant with that “Sonic is worse then porn” facetious remark.

Some of the Sonic images ARE as visually disturbing as some of the porn at this site.
 
Out of the 2700+ images of Sonic pics, maybe just maybe the call of filtering the images is justified. Seriously, isn’t better for folks to to filter what they don’t like than constantly complain about Sonic images and massive downvotes due to it?

I find it hilarious that of all the disturbing things on this site, the main thing I see people complain about, or say they want to filter/block, are the “Sonic”-related pics.

Complex filters. They’re not that complicated.  
My filter for this is “equestria girls-ified, shadow the hedgehog”  
That way, I can see each tags individually but any pic that has both those tags at the same time are out.

Not really feeling this artist’s work or style. So i may just filter the artist then just Sonic. What other methods are there to sort through the Sonic tags and filter out the copy/paste memes and certain artists?

To be fair, at least this one was drawn, and not copied off official art, or anything. Even if the pairings are odd, I’d except these “Shadow with every Equestria Girl” pics over those honestly.

Complex filters are simple.

I have Sonic on my watch list for the real chance of some decent Sonic x MLP but I am truly reconsidering that. Only other option is filtering the clipart copy/paste and certain artists.
