If I had to hazard a guess, I’d assume they just opted to print it on the opposite side this time, maybe to make the fancy chase version different from the cheap one? Mosely Orange is also flopped.
 
Apparently, the one sided cutiemarks are to cut down on misprinted waste ponies and they can barely get two eyes on straight. If they decide to take extra care with these, it would be a nice surprise.

Three of them look identical to their past releases, so that’s not exciting. Except that Candy Apples has her cutie mark on the other side of her body, so maybe they’re finally going double-sided??
