I must remind everyone that 3 years ago we were decrying their designs and saying they were horrible and ugly.

Excuse you; a segment of FiM fans were complaining but by no means all FiM fans were against EqG, even then. There are, and have always been, three main camps of thought:

Those who like the EqG designs
Those who hate them
Those who really couldn’t give a flying fig either way. :P
