To elaborate: you have your trolls, haters of the Sonic franchise, haters of the numerous mediocre art that comes in frequently like a bad song played on the radio constantly, shipping of characters without any creativity to the concept and the Sonic fandom trolls that like to flood the site with poorly drawn or copy/paste clip art to either flame or just want folks to downvote like crazy. Take your pick…

I do not understand because it is so hated it if it looks lovely in my opinion.

Bad shipping, bad drawing

Over several years of the going back and forth i wonder if there should be a forum discussion on what artists need to do to improve Sonic crossover art. Appearently, deviantart posters will only praise and pat each other on the back and the viewers here are pretty much biased, plain tired of numerous less than average sonic fan art, or plain trolling haters. So artists are probably dead set against on any criticism on how to improve since it’s “why all the downvotes?” Instead of what can be done to be more visually pleasing.
 
People are going to downvote/upvote what they like or don’t like and artists are going to draw what they are going unless someone pays them to do otherwise. But if the aim is to get upvotes from folks, both parties need to put some input to improve the art.
 
Frankly, >>822682 got some positive votes, so it mat not be the character but the content and style that maybe an issue.

Though, Sonic looks naked without gloves. :P

As the founder of the “Brony Sonic Appreciation Society” I must say I don’t condone this shipping (nor the the pony-human Anon shipping for crying out loud).
