I wanted to use Lavos’s outer shell, but I couldn’t get it to work right. Oh well.

Damn! That’s a cool and plausible theory.
Imagine if those aliens were follow-up enemies after defeating Lavos.
Yeah, most creatures usually aren’t the only of their species (unless they’re the last one), and I don’t think too many would be capable of defending their planet from a creature that spends aeons slowly sucking the life out of it.
And there might be more Lavos out there too, given Lavos Spawn enemies.
He’s probably destroyed dozens or more before he ever came to Earth.
Twilight, he almost destroyed an entire planet.
Hell, in one timeline he did.

We have all done silly things for the lolz.
Lavos is a planet eating parasite. Like a parasprite but with planets.
True enough. But the theory’s been stuck in my head for long enough I think I started treating it that way.
Theory =/= fact.
@Prof.NightJack
Actually, I got it from here.
I think he’s mixing Lavos with another creature for somthing else that does that, “The Great One” from Ben 10 come to mind but it was said to make planets implode, but I do remember once seeing something doing that, Lavos leaves a planet as more of a husk.
I think you made up that part. It seems they just leave the planet, and it’s remaining creatures/people to slowly “die” after all that instead.
I actually had a minor fanfic idea where Lavos was the creation of a species that wanted to become the most perfect beings in the universe by blending together the DNA of everything, and by the time they figured out that their probes were destroying the planets they were sent to, they didn’t care anymore. However, the destruction of one of their probes (Lavos itself) caused an alarm that sent them into action to attack the planet where it happened. Fortunately, thanks to time travel, the people of that world could learn they were coming and send a message back in time to prepare for them.
In the fight, yes, outside of the game when trying to show his true form but showing this it doesn’t work.
@Beau Skunky
Wasn’t that the whole point, though?
True, I admit that one really fooled me.
Dang it, you’re right. I should have thought of that.
Why do some people use the Center Pod alone for Lavos sometime, he’s the one on the right, the Lavos Core, that is really him.
