Actually, Galactus eats planets because he relies on their energy to survive. Also, he doesn’t go out of his way to look for populated worlds, he generally goes looking for planets that are uninhabited and only goes after planets with people living on them if he’s desperate.

And then discord gets eaten by unicron the end.

Discord, I DARE you to say that in front of Unicron’s face without getting completely obliterated.

In the big scheme of thing Discord is the King.  
But Unicron is the chess player.

I’m really starting to hate Unicron, he makes TF canons more complicated than it needs to be. Goddamn ALL Universes at Once BS….

Thing with that is, supposedly all versions of Unicron, are the same Unicron. How that works I don’t know.

As a bit of added trivia, the Transformers multiverse consists of at least 15,962,782 cataloged universal streams (that is, alternate universes). Unicron has thus far devoured approximately 22.56% of them.

Yeah, Galactus is pretty boss.

I kind of dig the whole Galactus eats planets and yet is a NECESSARY evil thing Marvel had going on during the Celestial era.

Out of all the multiverses, there is only one Unicron, because he is literally a god, a cosmic horror. He drifts from universe to universe, devouring millions of worlds to satiate his hunger. Some are strong enough to repel him… Most aren’t.

Discord, here’s the thing. That’s just an avatar of Unicron. The real Unicron is much bigger and way more powerful.

Again that depends on your definition of Chaos. If you’re talking about randomness, Discord’s your man. If you’re talking about primordial Chaos Unicron is who ya gunna call. It’s the difference between Tzeentch and Nurgle in 40k. Both very much beings of Chaos, yet they’re polar opposites.

I’m not a fan of TF so I don’t know much about unicron, but I must say Discord’s way is more… chaotic.

Well yeah, G1 Unicron.
 
In TF: Prime, Unicron doesn’t eat planets, he IS a planet, more specifically, earth. All the earth and dirt and soil life and stuff basically formed around his body while he was “sleeping.”
 
Also, while he was basically there the whole time throughout the entire season 1 via Dark Energon, It took him, what, three, four episodes to finally go down?
 
Just throwing it out there. The Unicron you see above is a bit different from G1.

To be fair in the comics Unicron is generally much more of a credible threat, like the fact he destroyed 3/4th the universe at one point.

And the fact that Discord makes Chaos for his own amusement, and Unicron does it because he hates existence.

Remaining a fan of bot series, I’d like to point out in his first appearance, in his first 5 minutes Unicron ate a planet. Killing billions. It also took an whole movie to beat him. Discord took two eps to beat. I’d say thery’re about equal power wise. Discord is more about Randomness, Unicron is more about returning the Universe to a state where it has as little complexity as possible, and nothing has order. So basically, two definitions of Chaos. What we’ve really got is a communication error.
