Soldier would just get angry at the fact that Twilight is a pony hippie that has wings and does not need a rocket launcher to fly.
 
Twi and Medic together would probably create some of the most terrifying things in the universe.

I don’t know, I could see Twilight and Medic hanging out to perform weird science and ubercharge experiments. The Medic’s a more arcane character, curious and fascinated by intellectual exploits. Sniper’s just basically a guy who likes to shoot things. He’s really good at it, yes, but it’s kind of the extent of him.
 
I’m not saying I don’t think Twilight would hang out with the Sniper. Just as she has spent time with her friends, I imagine she’d at least give it a try. What I am saying is that, if I’m to be honest, I think the only match that would make less sense would be Twilight and Soldier.

    In my opinion, I’m just fine with Sniper and Twi hanging out. If it was Medic and Twi, there might be a longer argument.

  1. Christian Brutal Sniper is not a sanity break; he’s a Freak Fortress 2 monster in the same vane as Painis Cupcake.
     
  2. All the mercs are ranged fighters; Sniper just has to keep at range if he wants to live. If we’re going to use Twilight’s magic as an excuse, there is no class she cannot be, as she has effectively shot enemies, been a minigun, made shields, teleported, burst into flames, built a portal, and turned things into oranges.
     
  3. The New Zealand thing is probably not going to matter anymore and was entirely a gag. Either way, the Sniper is probably the least important character in TF2, lore or gameplay-wise.
     
  4. The only sense I see in this matchup is that people insist that it makes sense.

  1. Both have sanity breaks: Twilight has Lesson Zero, Sniper has CHRISTAN BRUTAL SNIPER.
     
  2. Both are long range fighters, Twilight has magic, Sniper has rifles.
     
  3. They are both important to the plots of their stories: Twilight is alicorn, Sniper is from New Zealand.
     
  4. It makes perfect sense.
