Suave and Mysterious
Species: Unicorn
Parents: (Reformed) Sombra, Trixie Lulamoon
Nicknames: Luce, Cent, “CRYSTAAALLLLLSSSS”
Personality: Unlike his mother and father, Lucent is much more kind and genial to other ponies, rather than being callous or stand-offish. He’s a mare’s colt, but not really a womanizer. He’s not so much self-conscious about his parents past actions, and tends to hope ponies will judge him for his actions now. He can sometimes be clueless in dire situations, and often times accidentally makes situations worse. He’s carefree, but during work he can be very critical. His talent is studying and enchanting/finding magic crystal in the Crystal Empire and under Canterlot Castle. He was often picked on as a colt, as the children would hiss “Crrryyystallllls” behind his back.
Biography: Trixie Lulamoon met the slowly reforming Sombra in Ponyville while Trixie was returning to give Princess Twilight an appropriate apology after a long time of thought, self-reformation, and finally getting a job. She works as a magic tutor’s assistant, organizing ponies appointments and helping during sessions. Trixie was also hoping that maybe if she sucked up (which she felt extremely embarrassed by) that she might get a job in the Magic School Twilight had created. Trixie had seen the dark once-unicorn through the window while she knocked, but only saw him in the back yard of their home once she left. She asked him if he was who she thought he was, and he nodded. They soon started at least one-sided conversation, where Trixie was talking and Sombra was nodding. Finally it was growing too dark for Trixie to stay, and she left.
The next day she left the Ponyville Inn to see Sombra walking around, apparently with some sort of grocery list and a confused yet irritated expression on his face. Trixie took pity and began helping him find his way to the marketplace to buy his groceries, haggling with the vendors without growing into a rage, and other such things. Sombra was frankly astounded that a pony like her could withstand his presence without fleeing at the sight of him.
A few weeks passed, and Sombra grew the courage to ask Trixie to dinner. Trixie politely accepted and the two enjoyed a nice, if slightly burnt, dinner in Twilight’s home (Twilight and Discord were upstairs eavesdropping) and talked. Sombra told her of his strange half-lucid memories of the happenings at the Crystal Empire and his “death”, and Trixie told him of her past over-zealous acts of jealousy towards Twilight Sparkle. The two found they shared something in common a streak of evil. This, perhaps, caused each other to help one another, towards a better future.
