I can’t catch the episodes on time with my schedule so it doesn’t matter to me what channel shows MLP as long as they don’t meddle with the show. I have to say though, ponies and Transformers look out of place with all the documentaries and reality TV.

It’s not fair. I love the Hub. It’s like Hasbro had its very own channel. It was also a good way to start of a new decade. Hasbro should quit working for Discovery and work for someone else to make them a channel.

The short version: Hasbro sold back part of its stake in the Hub to Discovery Channel; Hasbro keeps a 6-hour daily (or weekday, not sure which) block from 9am to 3pm, which will include MLP, LPS, and Transformers, at the least, while Discovery Channel is renaming the channel to Discovery Family and loading up the rest of its schedule with Discovery Channel (and, presumably, old Discovery Kids) programs.
