My little pony came to me,  
With a bouquet of daisies and marigolds,  
And letters, postcards, arranged in ways,  
In all kinds of nips and folds.
 
She told me of a fantastic land,  
Sitting and beckoning ’yond the mirror,  
Where everyone is a pretty steed;  
Their coats brilliant, their hues clearer.
 
“Come with me,” she said and ran away,  
“Follow the magic golden road  
“Past countless perils and wild beasts,  
“Until you reach my fair abode!”
 
 
While Lyra won a trophy for demonstrating musical skill, her best friend is yet again unamused by its simplistic content.
 
“Lyra, I commend your expertise in your composition,” she commented, before her words turned into a rant, “but I expected something else other than magical ponies! Can’t you think of something else other than those childish cartoons? You’re quite too old for them?”
 
“Too old?” replied the teal lady. “Bonnie, I enjoy the show very much for inspiring me to create lovely sketches. Anything can be good inspiration if you have the skill and the heart to use it. Oh, I wish that Ponyland is real …”
