OP’s suggestion would be good (and would justify the Sontanabeetus) but might be predictable and standard unless they do something really good with it.  
Something really good with it: Perhaps she still does rely on that whole conflict thing to stay alive, which could lead to some seriously interesting conflicts of interest. Unlikely, though. :/
 
Option B, as suggested by @Background Pony Number 17 would also be brilliant, in a way. Plus, Adagixie.
 
Option C, where Sontana is really the mastermind faking stupidity… well, it would be unexpected.

I’d feel sad about Sonata, though. It’d sort of make me hate Adagio XD

Predictable Ending: Aria and Sonata turn out to be punch-clock villains, and whey they’ve finally had enough of Adagio’s yay, do a Hell-Face turn and betray their former boss to save the day.
 
Unpredictable and Better Ending: Aria and Sonata turn out to be “far more evil than thou ever wert”, and Adagio does the Heel-Face turn to escape the monsters she’s created.

I’m already calling it.

With this series and the stupidity of her,I’d see it coming a mile a way.I wouldn’t be suprised if they all get redeemed in the end.
 
But who knows?Maybe they’ll be actually beaten and not forgiven.Maybe they might even have some sort of return hook sometime after there defeat.
