My guess would be because it vaguely implies m/m shipping but it isn’t tagged “gay” or “shipping”. I’d imagine those opposed to such content are seeing it and downvoting it, while such images usually gets blocked by their tag-filters and so don’t get downvoted.

That’s just a hypothesis, though.

In any case, I’ll add the tags, even though it’s only vaguely shippy. If the tags end up needing to be removed, my apologies to the mods.
