I think ES just hasn’t accounted for her. Which is weird; he has for everything else. For all we know, she is up to something, but the last time we saw her she was just standing there.

Though by “flying around” I only meant to emphasize that Rainbow Dash was elsewhere.
Look for the line “this bozo who took my body”. Besides, she wouldn’t be just flying around not giving a crap if all of this is going on. Especially she’s seen interacting with Silverlay (WITH YELLOW EYES) earlier in this comic series.
Nope. In the last comic or so, it’s heavily implied that Obsidian (Silverlay’s master) actually took over Rainbow Dash’s body, and the real RD, dormant inside, was speaking to Silverlay telepathically.
shrugs sounds like it would be easy for Twilight to fix any such future problem then (considering that Silver Lays horn is cracked even so for Twilight would be much easier)
Or she’s going to destroy the thing that is possessing Rainbow Dash.
