You need fingers to use chop sticks. There has been plenty of debate just how ponies are supposed to hold Anything in their hooves. Many artists just resort to showing a pony hold something in their hoof by using tape. I suppose if someone wanted to show a pony eating ramen without explaining which type of utensils would be used and how they would use it… The pony could just slurp down the entire cup without using anything but their face.
I grew up in the American south and I still know to eat proper ramen with chopsticks.
