That works for me. Better than my own example.
As we saw in Suited for Success to some degree. Granted, that was more about trusting that your friend, who is a professional, knows better than you but ultimately Rarity worked herself into a terrible state by helping others.
I would agree with your sentiment anyway, as this message seems to be more one of helping others to one’s own detriment, rather than theirs (which was the message of It Ain’t Easy Being Breezies) which fits Rarity and being the Element of Generosity better.
However, Fluttershy still works because she’s the kind of pony who would give out this advice. Just imagine her directing it at a frazzled Rarity before dragging her (gently) away to relax.
I have to disagree. Fluttershy’s whole experience with the Breezies showed her that bending over backwards to help others may not be the kindest thing to do (i.e. they need to stand on their own feet). I would argue Fluttershy fits more than Rarity.
On the other hand, there was that bit with Sweetie Belle’s costumes, but that was more Sweetie’s being inconsiderate and not asking Rarity sooner rather than Rarity deliberately sacrificing herself.
